Asymmetrical Deconstructed Arch

I had a consultation with a couple recently and we were discussing backdrop options for where they were going to have their vows exchanged. Behind them would be three beautifully tall arched windows.

You see, originally they had wanted a perfect arch full of flowers and foliage, but I explained that this would cut off the windows behind them. As a designer I consider the overall picture and how everything will appear in photographs. It is so important for me that a wedding design works with the venue.

My suggestion was an Asymmetrical Deconstructed Greenery Arch, which of course they had never heard of before lol. I showed them pictures and explained how this would better suit the aesthetic of the venue by complimenting the arch windows perfectly.

Asymmetrical is when there is a difference in length, width, height, shape etc. Pertaining to the arch, the structure on one side is thicker and wider than the other.

Deconstructed means to break down into components.

In recent years, this has been a trending option so instead of having a full arch, we have parts of an arch. Within this article we have demonstrated different variations of our Deconstructed Arch designs.
