My new Fave London Wedding Venue...ssshh don't tell the others!

August gave us many firsts here at A F M E N A. One of those firsts was the awesome privilege of working at The Conservatory at Syon Park. I have to say, it has now won the position of being my most favourite venue to work at.

I love natural light, I love the sun and I’m obsessed with plants. This glasshouse encapsulates all those things and honestly, if I am ever to have a personal celebration, this would be my venue of choice. I am also delighted that it’s based in London. The vast grounds and grand classical interiors would have you thinking you’re in deep Essex but it’s unbelievably around the corner from Charing Cross station!

When working at such grand venues, I really do like to keep the floral design minimal, letting the space speak for itself. We loved creating this cluster of flowers around the sweetheart table with a moss finishing at the base. The purple delphinium flowers were my absolute fave for this arrangement.

The wedding cake by Little Cake Garden was perfectly positioned in the centre of the dancefloor. We kept some gorgeous blooms for her to decorate her cake with so that everything would tie in together seamlessly.

What I loved most about our choice of floral design for this wedding was playing around with texture. Large headed roses paired with carnation is the ultimate win. The intermixed chamelaucium were extremely fragrant and the centrepieces were the perfect size to present as gifts to the some of the guests afterwards.

The Conservatory at Syon park - let’s do it again soon!
