Creating Striking Floral Installations for Adidas Westfield – White City Activation Event
We recently had the privilege of collaborating with Adidas at their Westfield White City store for the second time, this time for an exciting activation event celebrating the re-release of some of their classic footwear. The in-store social gathering brought together a dynamic mix of influencers, all invited to participate in a unique footwear customisation experience. Our bold floral designs played a key role in transforming the space, adding a striking and modern element to the chosen red and blue theme.
The Vision: Red and Blue Theme
The event’s design centred around a vibrant red and blue colour palette to match the re-release of Adidas classics. Our task was to create floral installations and arrangements that aligned with this powerful theme while bringing a contemporary edge to the space, enhancing the overall aesthetic.
We carefully selected florals that would make a statement, using dramatic shapes and colours to create a visual impact. Red and Blue-dyed Roses, Anthurium, Hydrangeas and Amaranthus were chosen for their bold hues and structured forms. Our aim was not just to add a touch of natural beauty, but to deliver a dynamic, modern design that would elevate the atmosphere and complement the sleek feel of the Adidas brand.
Installation: A Striking Backdrop
The store’s layout featured zones for customisation, and the floral installations and arrangements were positioned strategically to enhance key areas like the entrance, footwear customisation tables and product displays. These installations were designed to be more than just décor—they were statement pieces, blending seamlessly into the event while also standing out as bold, modern backdrops for influencer content.
Large floral arrangements framed key areas, offering the perfect setting for photos and social media moments. Additionally, smaller, sharply designed arrangements were placed throughout the space to create a cohesive look without overwhelming the clean, minimalist aesthetic of the Adidas store. Our florals were striking enough to draw attention yet sleek enough to maintain the event’s modern vibe.
