Ushering in Corporate Events Season
It’s November and that means the end of Wedding Season for us this year and the beginning of our Corporate Events season. This year, it has been one of our highlights to work with two big brand names for the first time. At the beginning of the year, we styled the Women in Business Brunch Event for Marriott International at the gorgeous St. Pancras Renaissance Hotel.
Our second collaboration with a big brand was this event, where we provided the flowers and styling for a Supper Club event at The Waitrose Cookery School for Birra Morreti.
In my experience with providing Corporate Event Styling, it is extremely important for our clients to get everything on brand. For example, we sourced a fabric runner to be used along the tablescape and had to be extremely selective in making sure that the colour was just right for the company colours of Birra Morretti.
Being an Italian company, we were tasked with creating a design with that theme and chose rustic tables and antique wash cross back chairs to help achieve this look.
Along the length of the table, we used fresh flowers in mason jars along with log slices and tealight candles in clear glass votives. All of these different elements helped to contribute to a gorgeous tablescape.
With the place settings, we put various fresh herbs in branded tins as take-home gifts and favours for each guest. The combination of basil, parsley and coriander was extremely fragrant along with the cut rosemary we delicately placed on top of the napkins.
The placemats handmade from water hyacinth was the perfect finishing touch for each place setting along with the custom-made stationery.
A floral bridge is the perfect choice for a statement look with estate tables set up in a banquet style. A floral bridge uses a runner of flowers elevated above the table length. This way it creates drama and impact but is not an obstruction to viewing.
To make this event even more exciting, celebrity chef Gennaro Contaldo provided the evening’s meal. His recipe included pumpkin and aubergine, so we used those fresh ingredients as part of some of the styling details in the room to meet the guests upon their arrival in branded crate boxes.
Perhaps you are planning an office Christmas Party or some other type of end of year Corporate Function or Event and you would like to bring in specialists for your styling and/or flowers. Visit this page of our website to find out more about our services where we work with companies of all sizes.
