"Blooming Success: Tropical Flowers Steal the Show at Nando's Supper Club Activation Event"

Introduction

In the world of event planning, it's often the small details that make the biggest impact. At a recent Nando's Supper Club Activation Event, we had the pleasure of providing the floral design that helped make quite an impression. We opted for an exotic and tropical theme, using a vibrant selection of Anthuriums, Chasmanthe Floribunda, Gloriosa Superba, and Leucospermum. However, the real crowd-pleaser was our ingenious use of Sierpeper in Nando's bottles as vases In this blog post, we'll take you through the journey of creating a tropical paradise right in the heart of Shoreditch at the popular White Rabbit Studios.

The Inspiration Behind the Tropical Theme

When planning the floral design for the Nando's Supper Club Activation Event, the brief was a lo-fi concept that was on brand but not over the top. More of a I’m inviting you over the dinner and made an effort’ type of vibe. We drew inspiration from the bold colours of the Nando’s brans and the exotic roots of the company.

The Stars of the Show: Our Tropical Flowers

Anthurium: Known for its glossy heart-shaped petals and vibrant hues, we selected red and purple variations which added a touch of elegance and exoticism to our floral arrangements. These flowers symbolize hospitality and happiness, making them the ideal choice for this Nando's event.

Chasmanthe Floribunda: These fiery orange blooms provided a striking contrast to the other tropical flowers, symbolizing energy and enthusiasm. They added a burst of colour and warmth to the décor, embodying the fiery flavours of Nando's cuisine.

c. Gloriosa Superba: Often referred to as the "flame lily," Gloriosa Superba features stunning, flame-like petals. Their unique appearance symbolized the spicy and adventurous spirit of Nando's dishes, adding a touch of drama to the event.

d. Leucospermum: Also known as "pincushion protea," these flowers brought an air of exotic beauty to the tables. With their intricate, globe-shaped blooms, they became an artistic focal point, representing the creative and diverse flavours of Nando's.

The Creative Twist: Sierpeper in Nando's Bottles

One of the highlights of our floral arrangements was the innovative use of Sierpeper in Nando’s bottles as vases. Sierpeper, also known as chilli pepper or bird's eye chilli, added an unexpected and playful element to the décor. The cleaned and repurposed Nando's sauce bottles were filled with water to serve as unique vases. The combination of the fiery red and yellow peppers and the clear Nando's bottles was a visual feast, perfectly encapsulating the bold flavours of Nando's signature sauces. It was also of course very -on brand.

The Guest Reaction

The moment anyone entered the Nando's Supper Club Activation Event, their eyes were drawn to the stunning tropical floral arrangements. The vibrant colors and unique presentation of the Sierpeper-filled Nando's bottles received unanimous praise. Everyone couldn't stop talking about how the décor perfectly complemented the atmosphere, enhancing their dining experience.

Conclusion

At this Nando's Supper Club Activation Event, we learned that creativity knows no bounds when it comes to event planning, even when simply done. It was a reminder that even in the world of spicy cuisine, the beauty of nature can steal the show.
