A Floral Journey: Designing an Intimate Wedding at Greenwich Yacht Club
There’s something magical about intimate weddings. The kind where every guest matters, and every detail is crafted with care. Recently, we had the pleasure of designing the floral arrangements for a truly special wedding at the picturesque Greenwich Yacht Club. With just 50 guests, this celebration was as intimate as it gets—an unforgettable experience that brought together love, culture, and nature in the most beautiful way.
A Boho Minimalist Vision
The bride had a clear vision for her wedding day: a boho-inspired, minimalist aesthetic. She wanted the florals to be elegant yet understated, with an emphasis on natural beauty and simplicity. Our goal was to bring this vision to life using a selection of carefully chosen blooms and greenery.
For the florals, we opted for a delicate palette of white and soft blush flowers, roses added a touch of classic romance to the setting. We paired these with lisianthus, whose subtle, airy petals contributed to the light and breezy atmosphere of the day. Eucalyptus played a key role in adding texture and a calming fragrance.
The Perfect Setting
Greenwich Yacht Club, with its stunning views of the Thames and modern architecture, provided the perfect backdrop for this intimate celebration. We designed the floral installations to compliment the venue’s natural beauty, with arrangements that were both timeless and contemporary.
A Day to Remember
It was an honour to be a part of such a special day, and we couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out. The florals were the perfect finishing touch to a wedding that was all about love, family, and the joining of two worlds.
